Selection Box in AutoCAD 2011

I am using AutoCAD 2011 and must have hit a wrong combination of keys that has brought up the "Selection" box that appears when I am picking a line to fillet, break, trim etc.

Can some one help me with how to get rid of this box?

There IS normally a selection box when you invoke a command and choose entities. Are you referring to the size of the selection box, i.e. too large or too small?
