Scaling in AutoCAD

I am trying to scale an object using the Viewport.

I am trying to set the standard scale.

I am getting the error message "invalid argument scale in setting standard scale property".

I know that I can get the object to fit a 1/32" = 1' scale, but AutoCAD will not let me change the standard scale.

Try typing SCALELISTEDIT and reset the list of scales. See if that cleans it up for you.

If not, do you have any overlapping viewports?
