AutoCAD LT Plotting to a PDF

I am working in 2012 LT. I have drawn a floor plan and need to save it at 1/4" scale as a PDF.

When I am in paper space and put it to 1/4" it blows up bigger than the paper.

How do I get it to fit to scale on an 8.5x11 or 11x17?

I think the problem may be that your plan is too big for 1/4" = 1'-0" on those sheet sizes.

I would:

A.) Modify the scale to fit an 8-1/2" X 11" or 11" X 17" sheet. Maybe try 1/8" scale and see how that looks.

OR

B.) Use a bigger sheet size to accommodate a 1/4" scale.
